Queen's faculty, staff, and students who require access to Queen's resources can connect to the QueensU-Secure network with iOS by following the steps below:
- On the home screen, and click on the Settings icon.
- Select WiFi and ensure WiFi is turned On.
- To connect to the QueensU-Secure network, turn off the "iPhone Private Address" setting. To do this, click on the "i" that appears beside the network name. Note that when you turn off this setting, a privacy warning will appear.
- Next, tap the QueensU-Secure wireless network from the list of networks.
- Enter your NetID and password and click Join.
- On the Certificate screen, verify that the Certificate displays “networkauth.queensu.ca” issued by Entrust, then click Trust.
- You will now be connected to the QueensU-Secure wireless network.
