Queen's faculty, staff, and students who require access to Queen's resources can connect to the QueensU-Secure network with iOS by following the steps below:

  1. On the home screen, and click on the Settings icon.
  2. Select WiFi and ensure WiFi is turned On.

  1. To connect to the QueensU-Secure network, turn off the "iPhone Private Address" setting. To do this, click on the "i" that appears beside the network name. Note that when you turn off this setting, a privacy warning will appear.

     

 

  1. Next, tap the QueensU-Secure wireless network from the list of networks.

 

  1. Enter your NetID and password and click Join.

 

  1. On the Certificate screen, verify that the Certificate displays “networkauth.queensu.ca” issued by Entrust, then click Trust.
  2. You will now be connected to the QueensU-Secure wireless network.
